DC-10
DC-10 is the so-called eighth club of Ibiza and, if there is something that especially characterises it, it is that it has one of the most authentic and valued atmospheres on the island: a purebred club with a capacity for 1,500 people, with a distinctive Underground spirit and its own flavour that reminds us of the parties that used to be held (in fact, are held) in the occasional warehouse in the great capitals of Europe.
Es Paradis
Opened in 1975, Es Paradis is one of the first discotheques in Ibiza, its founder being the same as that of the very famous Café del Mar. Like many other clubs on the island, such as Privilege and Amnesia, Es Paradis was one of Ibiza's most famous open-air clubs. Noise regulations in 1990 meant that they had to build the pyramid for which the discotheque is known today.
Pacha
Opened in 1973, Pacha is Ibiza's longest-established nightclub and the one that has achieved the greatest international expansion. Pacha has franchises in destinations such as Madrid, London, New York, and even Marrakech and Sharm el Sheikh. The Pacha Ibiza nightclub has a capacity of 3,000 people and has 5 rooms with different atmospheres. The main room is where the most famous parties are held and where international DJs play. In the upper part there is a terrace with more relaxed music.
Amnesia
Finalist and winner of the ``Best Global Club`` award year after year, Amnesia has two rooms, a relatively good atmosphere and the best gogos on the island. Amnesia was opened in 1970 on the site of an old house. It was the first open-air discotheque in Ibiza, although due to the continuous complaints from the neighbours it had to close the terrace - although it still keeps its name -. The maximum capacity of Amnesia is 5,000 people and it is one of the clubs that is always full.
Privilege
A huge central dance floor with swimming pool, 25 metre high ceilings, several open air rooms and a capacity of 10,000 people, Privilege is considered the largest discotheque in the world by the Guinness Book of Records.Privilege started in 1978 under the name ``Club San Rafael``, changed its name to ``KU`` for more than 10 years, and settled as Privilege in 1993. Due to the success and changing regulations, the club, initially just an outdoor pool, grew to what it is today. Famous visitors to the club include Jean-Paul Gaultier, Madonna and Paris Hilton.
Space
Opened in 1989, Space Ibiza is known as one of the temples of electronic music, being the symbol of clubbing in Ibiza at its best. It has been rated as ``The Best Global Club`` in 2005, 2006 and 2012. Space nightclub has 5 different areas, including a terrace where you can enjoy the atmosphere during the day, as certain parties start when the sun is still shining. The capacity of the club is 3,500 people.
Ushuaia
Opened in 2011, the Ushuaia Beach Hotel nightclub has revolutionised Ibiza. Throughout the summer, the hotel holds parties in its macro pool from 5pm to midnight, creating a new concept of hotel-disco that has changed the island forever. Music at all hours, gogos in bikinis, tons of decibels, huge LED screens, Balinese beds and a spectacular stage are present every day of the summer at the Ushuaia Hotel. Paris Hilton, Naomi Campbell and Dennis Rodman are some of the celebrities who have been spotted on the dance floor.
