Talamanca
Talamanca, the most popular and family beach in Ibiza town, just 15 minutes' walk from the centre, is long and wide, with fine white sand, and of natural origin. Quiet and crystal clear waters, with a sandy seabed and underwater vegetation. Easily accessible and with a wide range of services such as showers and lockers and regular bus and boat services, plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and even free leisure, sports and children's activities during the winter months.
Playa d'en Bossa
It is one of the longest beaches on the island. In winter, a long walk along its white sand is paradisiacal. In summer it is one of the most frequented, as almost its entire length is lined with numerous hotels, restaurants and various commercial establishments. This area, easily accessible and located immediately after Ses Figueretes, is ideal for sunbathing, swimming, water sports or shopping, as numerous shops are lined up around the street that runs parallel to the sea.
Sa Caleta
Also known as Es Bol Nou, Sa Caleta is a small, quiet beach surrounded by pine trees, made up of rocks and reddish-coloured sand that give it a very special character. Sa Caleta is a quiet and different beach, far from the large stretches of white sand where the sunbeds and parasols are crowded together. Its steep cliffs loom over visitors who are looking for a quiet and cosy refuge where they can merge with the blue of the sea.
Ses Salines
A fashionable beach and a meeting place for celebrities. It is part of the Ses Salines Natural Park, an area that is strongly protected due to its high ecological value. Open and of considerable length, it is surrounded by lush forests of junipers and pines. It is very popular for the transparency of its waters, the wide variety of services it offers and its proximity to the city of Ibiza.
Es Cavallet
Located in the Natural Area of Special Interest of Ses Salines, Playa des Cavallet is a long, narrow strip of white sand that merges with the clear waters that bathe its coast. It is a beach known as a gay and nudist area, but in practice it is frequented by a wide variety of people. This beach also has a very pleasant beach bar where it is possible to escape from the strong summer heat.
Cala d'Hort
Located in the southwest of Ibiza, Cala d'Hort is a beach that does not particularly stand out from the rest for its beauty, although it does stand out for its beautiful views. Cala d'Hort is located in front of the islets of Es Vedrá and Es Vedranell, two huge rocks that in the past served as a refuge for pirates and corsairs. Cala d'Hort has fairly coarse sand made of pebbles and no shaded areas, but it has two restaurants where you can take shelter from the sun.
Cala Salada
Surrounded by a green, scarcely urbanised environment, Cala Salada is one of the best rated and most visited coves in the whole of Ibiza. Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta, its neighbouring cove, emerge from welcoming inlets that form two pleasant coves of golden sands and crystalline waters that reflect bluish colours. Although to get from one to the other the bravest choose a rather complicated path that practically climbs through the rocks, there is a more comfortable path at the top.
Cala Tarida
Located in the west of the island, Cala Tarida is an urbanised beach where hotels, flats and restaurants have become embedded in the coastal landscape, impoverishing the surrounding nature. Although its waters are not as colourful as those of other nearby beaches, Cala Tarida is an extensive beach with an excellent range of sports and leisure activities.
Portinatx
Located in the north of the island, Portinatx is a beautiful cove which, despite being very urbanised, still conserves part of its natural charm at the foot of the beach. The beach is made up of golden-coloured sand and very clear waters with turquoise reflections mixed with some seaweed, in addition to the wide variety of services that can be found in the surroundings of the beach, it has some shaded areas, something that is to be appreciated during the hot summer days.
